FRANK AND OAK ANNOUNCES CIRCULAR, ZERO-WASTE SNEAKER

Frank And Oak X Thousand Fell release limited edition, vegan Court Shoe that’s

stain-proof, odor-proof and recyclable

MONTRÉAL, Quebec, Canada, August, 2023 - Leading responsible fashion brand and certified B Corp, Frank And Oak, has launched an exclusive sneaker style with circular footwear pioneer and long-time collaborator, Thousand Fell. The zero-waste, unisex shoe is made from recycled bottles, natural rubber, and food waste – including coconut husk and sugar cane– in place of petroleum-based synthetics.

“For the past two years, we have seen firsthand the positive response from our customers to the Frank And Oak X Thousand Fell classic White sneaker,” says Dustin Jones, CEO of Frank And Oak, “We are now excited to bring a new, exclusive style made from the same innovative, fully recyclable materials.”

Available in a limited edition colorway of black-white-beige, the Frank And Oak X Thousand Fell Court Shoe features insoles made from recycled yoga mats giving it a slight lift and extra support with superior comfort. The shoe is stain proof and water-resistant with a bio leather upper complete with protective quartz coating to repel liquids, while the interior features an aloe vera soft touch mesh liner for breathability.

The shoes are thoughtfully crafted just down the road from sugar cane fields and coffee farms of Franca, Brazil, in a family-owned factory with three decades of high-end shoe-making experience. Designed to last well beyond 2,400,000+ steps, the innovative recyclable sneaker has been rigorously tested for durability and longevity of wear. When the shoe is finally ready to be replaced, customers can opt to do so on the Thousand Fell website and will be provided with a return label for recycling. In true circular fashion, once the returned shoes are received at the Thousand Fell HQ in New York, they will be fully recycled into another pair of sneakers.

“Frank And Oak is a unique brand that truly shares our mission to push circularity and responsible design to the mainstream”, says Chloe Songer, Co-Founder of Thousand Fell, “The Court shoe combines the style and sustainability that Frank And Oak stands for, with the circular footwear system that Thousand Fell has innovated.”

The Frank And Oak X Thousand Fell Court Shoe retails for $155 CAD and USD, and will be available on FrankAndOak.com on August 14, 2023.
